That's about it in terms of advice. Much of it probably seems very picky and unnecessary, but believe me the good quality article directories and the better paying article purchasers will have a human checking every word. They will almost certainly be using a tool similar to the one I mentioned earlier to check for plagiarism and they won't hesitate to let you know if they don't like your work.

In summary, here are the main pointers to observe when writing articles.
- Use good English grammar and punctuation
- Use a spell-checker but don't rely on it too heavily
- Write clearly, in a structured way, using a plan
- Make your content interesting, informative and accurate
- Do not copy existing published work
I have one final piece of advice for first time writers. Write and submit just one article to start with, whether for payment or not. If it turns out that you don't have an aptitude for writing, it would be a pity to waste hours writing loads of articles, only to have them all rejected.
Above all, enjoy what you're doing; if you hate it, it will show.
